Flight Recommendation: For those of you traveling from outside of the Boston area, our recommendation is to look at flights into the Boston Logan International Airport or the Portland Jet Port, Maine. The Portland airport is approximately 45 minute drive to our wedding destination. Boston Logan Airport is approximately 1 hour and 15 minute drive away. Please check flight availability for best prices.
Ground Transportation: To get from Boston to Kennebunkport, there are two options: Car Rental at the Airport or the Train. To take the train, you must make your way from the Boston Logan airport to North Station in downtown Boston. At North Station, you should ask to get a ticket for the Down East Rail to Wells, Maine. Please be advised, there are only 4 departure times from Boston to Wells. For the most up-to-date information, please check Amtrak.com. Once you are in Wells, you will need to take a cab from the train station to your hotel.
If you are traveling from the Portland, Maine airport, we recommend that you rent a car instead of taking a cab or public transportation.
Hotel Accomodations: We have made a few hotel suggestions on this page. Our recommendation is to stay as close to Dock Square, Kennebunkport as possible since the trolley for the ceremony and reception location will be located there. As soon as you know you will be attending our wedding, please make your hotel reservations as soon as possible.
